Two years ago I heard the most beautiful speech about Finland, at the Innovation Home Singapore event.

Tears started running down my cheeks as two Singaporeans told us about their visit to Lapland and about all the amazing things they found in Finland. Perhaps at times it is difficult to appreciate it all, but when I heard about what salmon soup, ryebread, our nature, the silence, the cleanliness, honest people and the seasons mean to a foreigner, I was yet again reminded of the deep feeling of gratitude for the opportunity we have to live in Finland.

Our dream when founding Innovation Home Singapore was to build bridges between Asia and Finland, to bring great Nordic innovations to Singapore and it was incredible to witness how that magic has come to life.

After the pandemic, I believe that Finland is an even more attractive destination for international visitors to come to work remotely.
